Vertical Ring and wet high intensity magnetic separator
Vertical ring (φ800 mm) and wet high intensity magnetic separator consists of a metal ring, which is vertical rotating between the two poles. In the lower magnetic field, the pulp is given into the ring from the lower part of the ring to the mine through the ring round screen grate. The weakly magnetic mineral particles adhere to the surface of the medium ring and rotation with the ring and then promoted to the top of weak intensity field, and finally washed into the concentrate tank by the high-pressure water. Non-magnetic mineral particles which are free from the magnetic force flow into the tailings slot through the gap dielectric sphere. Vertical ring and wet high intensity magnetic separator, whose main advantages is overcoming the plug shortcomings of lying ring (flat ring). Due to the media rotating with the rings, which destructs the media directed arranged magnetization and plays a role of demagnetization and avoiding clogging. A lot of tests showed that, magnetic separator can get a better separation effects for the magnetization coefficient greater than 15 × 10-6 cm 3 / g of fine weakly magnetic minerals, such as hematite, siderite, ilmenite, chromite, wolframite ore, tantalum, niobium ore, manganese ore, garnet, sodium pyroxene, hornblende geometric sorting, etc.
Performance characteristics of permanent magnetic drum
Permanent magnetic drum (also known as magnetic pulleys), is mainly used for the following purposes:
1. Coarse separation of depleted iron ore after coarse crushing or medium crushing. And it excludes the surrounding waste rock so as to improve ore taste and reduce the load of the process.
2. It is used for rawore separation, which is not fully restored in the hematite roasting operations, and which returned and then burned.
3. It is used for deironing in the ceramic industry in porcelain so as to improve the ceramic quality.
4. It is used for deironing operation in burning coal, foundry sand, refractory and other lines.
